Technology Transforming Road Freight management SANRAL, as a Road Network operator, has a responsibility to reduce congestion, improve road safety and promote sustainable transport. With technology, now being the catalyst to optimise systems, SANRAL is developing numerous smart solutions to improve road freight management with the aim of improving border queue management, supporting law enforcement to monitor freight movements and vehicle fitness, and using Mobile Payment Stations to provide additional support at border posts. |
